The qualified candidate must possess one of the following; High School Diploma, NJ Substitute Teaching Certificate, Bachelors Degree This is a 10-month position with hours from 8:
00AM to 3:
00PM, Monday through Friday.
Salary based on experience.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree Preferred Relationships:
Works under the direction and oversight of the teacher in charge of the given class, therapist responsible for the student and under the supervision of the building Principal
Responsibilities:
The One to One Aide position is primarily a job involving 1:
1 assistance for a student that requires such in the classroom.
The 1:
1 will assist the student's teacher in providing the accommodations needed within the classroom and following the student's IEP.
The 1:
1 aide will reinforce the classroom teacher's expectations during academic instruction and provide guided support.
The 1:
1 aide will provide positive praise, maintain a relationship with the student, and handle any behavioral struggles that the student may display, following school behavioral management plan.
The 1:
1 Aide is expected to follow any behavioral plan provided for the student.
General Duties:
1.
Support the classroom teacher and social worker with any/all behavioral plan(s) implemented for the student.
2.
Support student with any given task or activity during the day.
3.
Is expected to help perform the following duties.
A.
Support student at arrival and dismissal.
B.
Allow student to take breaks under direction of classroom teacher and support student during arrival and dismissal.
C.
During P.
E.
/Health, support student with expected tasks/activities.
D.
Support student during a crisis situation.
E.
Support student during recess activities.
F.
Any other assignments given by the Dean of Students or Principal.
4.
Collaborate with classroom teacher, social worker, teaching assistants and supervisor(s) daily concerning the students behavior.
5.
Attends all staff and committee meetings, in-services and special events, etc.
as assigned.
6.
Performs such other duties as may be designated by the Executive Director/Superintendent.
